Tissue Textured Background

Try crumpling a piece of white tissue paper. Then smooth it open, not fanatically, and adhere it to watercolor paper using Matte Medium. Paint 3-4 colors of acrylic over the rough surface, allowing the paint to flow over the tissue randomly. Possibly swipe an inkpad over the paint for highlights. This makes the background. Affix an image transfer on the center and use watercolors to paint the image or highlight the background. Maybe use the photo of my great-grandparents with my grandma as a young girl for the original. Embellish with a vintage silver buckle I’ve been saving for the right project.
